All of us want to be successful in our chosen academic careers. One of the most effective and proven methods of achieving success is to acquire a mentor. Interestingly, nearly all very successful people in all areas of life can identify at least one person who had a significant impact on their careers/lives. In order to provide the faculty with this powerful tool for the success the Academy has established a formal mentoring program. The program is of a one-year duration and pairs respected senior faculty with junior faculty. The program is voluntary with mentors donating their time and expertise to assist their mentees (protégés) in achieving their goals. Separate training programs will be conducted at the beginning of the semester for both mentors and mentees.
